Tassimo T65 is the top of the line in the Tassimo series and here we are talking about a brewbot for those who want it to look a little bit more exclusive than just a piece of plastic on the kitchen table, it comes in Twilight Titanium with no option of changing colors as you can do with Tassimo T20
That is one of the biggest differences from Bosch Tassimo T65 and T20, it is a much more exclusive coffee maker that will do good in a more sophisticated or conservative looking kitchen, where the T20 is more the young fresh looking coffee brewer.
Tassimo T65 Comes With A Bigger Water Tank
But there is more into than just the design.
Tassimo T65 is a little bit bigger and comes with a 61 fl oz water tank instead of the 50 fl oz that comes with T20, which makes it a little bit more comfortable if you are one of those who appreciate either a bigger cup or a second cup of coffee without having to go through the whole procedure in making another cup of coffee.
Tassimo T65 Guided Led Display Tells You Exactly What To Do
Another difference between Tassimo T65 and T20 but also Tassimo T45 is the led display that can show up to 20 different languages.
The led display on the Tassimo T65 gives and shows you the step by step process on when you are making your preferred hot drink, and tells you how long it is in the process of making it.
But in my humble opinion, and as long as it it makes a good cup of coffee, tea, cappuccino or hot chocolate, you really do not need to pay around 50$ more for the Tassimo T65 Premium than the Tassimo T20 just for the LED display, unless you like this extra feature of course.
The Tassimo T65 Wow Effect
Another Major improvement in the design department compared to both T20 but also T45 is the cup stand light that illuminates the brewer and highlights the cop or glass positioned in the brewbot.
This gives you a total wow effect and looks cool, but it is actually a nice function to have because often when you make a cop of chocolate, tea or coffee in the evening you can see what is going on with the brewer without having to lighten up your whole kitchen.
Tassimo T65 comes with a special water filter system that that reduces lime and chlorine and at the same time improves the taste of the hot drinks and extend the brewers life.
It is a nice function to have, but in order to use the water filter system you have expect extra costs for around 10-15$ every third month in order to keep this filter optimized.
What is a Tassimo T65 Brewer?
Tassimo T20, T45 0r Tassimo T65 does what no other coffee machine is able to do and that is to make other hot drinks than just coffee such as Latte, Cappuccino, Hot Chocolate, Mocha, Tea, espresso and much more.
This makes it to the perfect choice if you like a little variety in your hot drink selection or just like to have the freedom to invite your guests on what ever they want to have.
With the Tassimo T65 you basically do not need anything else, this will save you a lot of space in the kitchen.
Bosch Tassimo T65 is based on the T Disc System that demands that you buy your preferred hot drinks especially made for Tassimo and that comes with a Bar Code on top that tells the Brewer exactly what to do, those comes from the leading coffee houses in the world and are available world wide.
Making your preferred hot drink cannot get any easier than this, you basically do not have to do anything other than load the T Disc into the Tassimo T65 brewer and push the buttom.
It is important to notice than you manually can adjust the strength of the hot drink in case you prefer an extra strong cup of coffee on the Tassimo T65.
Is It Worth Paying More For Tassimo T65 and T20 and T45?
The biggest differences is for sure the design, quality of the materials it is built in, the water filter system, led display and the cup stand light.
What I liked most about Tassimo T65 compared to Tassimo T20 is the bigger water tank which makes it easier for me to squeeze out a little extra coffee without having to go through the whole process of making a new cup again.
The Led display is nice but all ready after one week you will get use to it and probably really not use it and therefore it will not be worth the around extra 50$ the Tassimo T65 cost more than T20.
The water filter system is of course a nice function especially if you want to extend the life of your coffee makes, but me personally could not taste any difference with or without the coffee filter system.
What I did like was the Cup stand light, for me personally it is great feature, because I like to make my hot drinks late at night and have this habit of not turning the light in the kitchen while making it, which means I cannot see anything of what I am doing, cup stand light is a great function and it looks very cool as well.
Buying Tassimo T65
If you want to buy Tassimo T65 I recommend that you head over to Amazon, I am pretty confident that you will get a much cheaper price there that at any local dealer you might have, and here you will have the option to do some hot drink shopping as well, so you will receive a whole package when you get your Tassimo T65 and do not have to run down to the super market to but the coffee.

I have wanted a one cup brewing system for a long time but hesitated after sampling the Keurig system beverages at a gourmet cooking shop demonstration. A friend and I made our selections and had the coffee brewed for us. The initial delight with trying out a new machine was quickly replaced with the reality of a very weak, tasteless, stale cup of coffee. We both took a sip and tossed the cups in the trash. The woman demonstrating the system kindly offered us the choice of another variety, but the results were the same. The idea of the beverage system was clearly better than the execution.
